Top 5 Chocolate Pops Ups of 2016

Having reviewed some of the very chocolatey Pop Ups London had to offer in 2016, I thought I’d list my top 5.  In pure teacher style, read below to see what the ‘what went wells’ (www) and ‘even better ifs’ (ebi) are for the following Pop Ups:

  1. KitKat Chocolatory

WWW: to be able to watch how they make the chocolate bars and purchase some limited edition Kit Kats to take home.

EBI: it didn’t take 90mins to wait.

  1. Wonka Bar at My Old Dutch Pancake House 

WWW: celebrating Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday in style with 5 monstrously chocolate creations that represent his stories.

EBI: it wasn’t death by chocolate, how about some savoury or fruity alternatives ‘James and the giant Peach and cream pancake?

  1. Dolce by Ferrero Rocher

WWW: the chance to sample a unique Ferrero Rocher dish.

EBI: there was more to the ‘dining experience’ than sampling 5 bites.

  1. The Nutella Café at Harvey Nichols

WWW: delicious Nutella based menu and brunch with a view.

EBI: they actually completed the festive Alpine lodge setting.

  1. The Magnum Pleasure Store

WWW: the experience of personalising your very own Magnum ice cream with choices galore.

EBI: in America YOU can actually make your own, this would definitely add to the experience.  Perhaps a separate counter for avid chocolatiers?

If you are disappointed that you missed out then worry not, Magnum is opening their store today!  From the 27th June to 10th of September.  In the fifth year running and this time in Partnership with Moschino, their Pop Up store will be located in the fashionable Seven Dials.
